Nikomed's innovative Trace 1 product line features electrodes to fit every need. Our complete line
includes Stress, Holter, EMS, Cardiac Cath, ICU, and Universal electrodes. They are each made with Silver/Silver
Chloride (Ag/Ag Cl) for the clearest, most accurate recordings and come in a variety of shapes and sizes to
allow for exact placement, maximum adhesive coverage, and patient-friendly, long-term monitoring. Our
complete line is latex free and has a proven track record of excellence.
Anatomy of an Electrode
Metal stud (connection point) guarantees a clean undisturbed transmission of the 1 mV ECG signal to the monitor.
Carbon stud ensures clear transmission and can be used under x-ray without showing a shadow.
Backing materials-foam, clear-tape or cloth each provides a stable base to secure all components
and attach effectively to patient.
Silver/Silver Chloride (Ag/Ag Cl) sensor delivers fast defibrillation recovery, excellent
signal quality, and is required for all ECG monitoring electrodes.
Easy-to-find lift tab permits fast removal from cover and easy application and removal from patient.
Electrolyte pad contains non-irritating, low impedance gel to produce clear and accurate tracings.
Solid gel no pad necessary. Conductive adhesive gel creates an excellent transmission of ECG signal, full surface
adhesion and easy, no-mess cleanup.
Excellent FDA-tested adhesive for clear, long-term ECG monitoring with maximum patient comfort.
